Supervisor Wilmarth called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
The Board stood and said the pledge of allegiance.
Roll call Supervisors: Horton, Fitzgerald, and Wilmarth and Auditor Bethany Murphy. Also, present Kim Watson and Justin Savage, Jarrod Beckstrom, Jack Elsnes, and Rob Welch
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to approve the agenda for today’s meeting and the minutes to the last meeting with a change in one sentence. Motion carried 3-0
Rob Welch from Apex Energy spoke that they are our actively seeking wind rights.
Beckstrom, Welch and Elsnes left the meeting.
There were no committee reports.
Savage presented a utility permit from Mid-American Energy on Linwood Ave right outside of Bedford. Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to approve the utility permit. Motion carried 3-0.
Savage spoke on the bridge in Holt the is not useable because it is to narrow, option range from adding a plank to the bridge or widening the bridge or putting in a low water crossing. The addition of the beam would cost $80,000.00 widening the bridge would cost $100,000 -$150,000 the cost of the low water crossing would be $20,000-$25,000. The Board is open to the idea of the low water crossing.
Conservation Director Nick Fehring joined the meeting with numbers for changing the salary new Conservation Tech position. Fehring will return the Board next week after the Conservation Board meeting next week.
IT Director Josh Good joined the meeting.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to go into closed session under code 22.7(50). Motion carried 3-0.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to come out of closed session. Motion carried 3-0.
Chip Schultz joined the meeting to discuss financing of the Elevator/Electrical Project.
The Board approved the claims to be paid.
The Board met with Jeremiah Ambrose on the plumping at the new Public Health Office.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 3-0.
