PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in special session at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022.
Supervisor Wilmarth called the meeting to order. Supervisor roll call: Wilmarth, Horton, Fitzgerald, all present. Also present: Corey Leftwich, Kim Watson, and Jack Beggs.
The Board discussed ARPA funding and the bid for the renovation of 203 Main Street for the Public Health department. There was much discussion regarding the best option available to the county.
Crystal Drake and Sarah Guilliatt joined the meeting.
To better evaluate the options, the Board and attendees visited the building on 203 Main Street. The Board reviewed the building and the plans as previously discussed. After review, the Board and attendees returned to the Board of Supervisors room to continue discussion.
Discussion continued amongst Board members and the attendees on the best option. No decisions were rendered, and the Board decided to table further discussion until after they explore any additional options.
Fitzgerald motioned to adjourn the meeting. Horton seconded. MC 3-0.
