Supervisor Wilmarth called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
The Board stood and said the pledge of allegiance
Roll call Supervisors: Wilmarth, Fitzgerald and Horton, and Auditor Bethany Murphy.
Horton made a motion seconded by Wilmarth to approve the agenda for today’s meeting and the minutes from the prior meeting. Motion carried 3-0
There were no public comments.
Fitzgerald gave a report on the ATURA meeting he attended.
Savage presented a sale price of $14,000.00 of the paint machine we jointly owned with Adams County. Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to approve the sale of the paint machine to Adams County for $14,000.00. Motion carried 3-0.
Savage spoke about the salt shed that was damaged in the windstorm. The insurance will pay $50,725.96 the cost of replacement will be $59,700.
The crews have been cutting brush and preparing for the upcoming snowstorm.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to approve the handwrite payment to Quill for $54.96. Motion carried 3-0.
The Board approved and equipment disposal for Conservation Department for a pole saw.
Auditor Murphy let the Board know the new furnace has been ordered to replace the one that is down. The cost is $5,255.00.
Leesa Lester from Southern Iowa Trolley joined the meeting for the FY23 budget ask. Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to approve the budget ask of $2500.00. Motion carried 3-0.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 3-0.
