May 5th 2022 Meeting Minutes

May 5, 2022
Supervisor Wilmarth called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. The Board stood and said the pledge of
allegiance
Roll call Supervisors: Horton, Fitzgerald, and Wilmarth and Auditor Bethany Murphy. Also, present
Justin Savage, Crystal Drake, Sarah Guilliatt and Jo Adams.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to approve the agenda for today’s meeting and the
minutes to the last meeting. Motion carried 3-0
There were no public comments. There were no committee reports.
Savage presented the change in holidays due to the department going to summer hours. They would be
changing Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to approve the changes in holidays. Motion
carried 3-0.
The department is gearing up for the construction season.
Crystal Drake presented the proposal from the Architect at the cost of $18,000.00. Public Health
would like this to be paid form ARPA Funds to speed up the process of the building renovation.
Drake can not find a grant for a generator this would cost between $7500.00-$8,000.00 to get a new
generator. Drake is hoping to the extra funds in her budget to pay for this cost.
Jo Adams, Chairman of the Lenox Walking Trail Committee presented a request for funding for
extending the current walking trail.
Sue Cox and Justin Savage joined the meeting to discuss the vacation chart for the new handbook. A
new chart will be created to be approved next week.
The Board set the budget amendment hearing for May 26, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 3-0. Pam
