May 27th 2022 Meeting Minutes

May 27, 2022
Supervisor Wilmarth called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. The Board stood and said the pledge
of allegiance
Roll call Supervisors: Horton, Fitzgerald, and Wilmarth and Auditor Bethany Murphy. Also, present
Kim Watson, Sarah Guilliatt and Crystal Drake.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to approve the agenda for today’s meeting and the
minutes to the last meeting. Motion carried 3-0
There were no public comments. There were no committee reports.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to open the public hearing for the USDA Grant. Motion
carried 3-0.
There were no written or oral objections.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to close the public hearing. Motion carried 3-0.
Crystal Darke and Sarah Guilliatt left the meeting.
Justin Savage joined the meeting.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to go into closed session for Engineer contract
negotiations. Motion carried 3-0.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to come out of closed session. Motion carried 3-0.
The Board tabled the decision on the Engineer Contract until it can be reviewed by the county
attorney.
Justin Savage will start getting his raise in June for engineering services. His contract will
officially begin July 1, 2022 with a salary of $107,000. Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by
Horton to approve the salary increase in June with Savage’s new contract beginning July 1. Motion
carried 3-0.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 3-0. Pam
