PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY CONFERENCE BOARD
The Taylor County Conference Board met at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023.
Chairperson Fitzgerald called the meeting to order. Members present: Ronald Fitzgerald, Kim Watson, Matt Churchill, Dennis Brown, Jack Spencer via telephone and Monty Douglas via telephone.
Brown motioned to approve the agenda and the minutes for February 27th and March 14th. MC 6-0 with all in favor.
There were no public comments.
Fitzgerald opened the public hearing for the fiscal year 2023 budget amendment for the Assessor’s Office. Leftwich presented the budget and went over some of the key figures being amended. Watson motioned to approve the amendment which was seconded by Churchill. MC 6-0 with all in favor.
Fitzgerald opened the public hearing for the fiscal year 2024 budget for the Assessor’s Office. Leftwich presented the budget and went over some of the key figures being presented. Brown motioned to approve the budget as presented which was seconded by Watson. MC 6-0 with all in favor.
Assessor Clerk Beason presented a request to the Board for approval to lease a printer for a 63-month term at $98.00 a month through Infomax Office Systems. Watson motioned to approve the lease starting in May 2023. Churchill seconded. MC 6-0 with all in favor.
Watson motioned to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Brown. MC 6-0.
