PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in special session at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 3rd, 2023.
Supervisor Fitzgerald called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald, Watson, Beggs, all present. Also present: Corey Leftwich, Josh Weed, Kimberly Watson, Justin Savage and Jim Rowe.
Watson motioned to approve the agenda for the meeting. Beggs seconded. MC 3-0.
Beggs motioned to open the Property Tax Levy Hearing. Watson seconded. MC 3-0.
The Board proceeded to hold the Property Tax Levy Hearing (Max Levy) and had discussions with those in attendance about County matters. There were no concerns addressed by the public with the Max Levy.
Watson motioned to close the Property Tax Levy Hearing. Beggs seconded. MC 3-0.
The Board decided to proceed with discussions about the budget. The Board decided to set the fiscal year 2024 Proposed Budget Hearing for April 17th, at 9:00 a.m.
The Board reviewed topics for discussion in future meetings. Watson motioned to adjourn the meeting. Beggs seconded. MC 3-0.
