June 9th 2022 Meeting Minutes

June 9, 2022
Supervisor Wilmarth called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. The Board stood and said the pledge
of allegiance
Roll call Supervisors: Horton, Fitzgerald, and Wilmarth and Auditor Bethany Murphy. Also, present
Kim Watson.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to approve the agenda for today’s meeting and the
minutes to the last meeting. Motion carried 3-0
There were no public comments.
Fitzgerald gave a report on the Crossroads Mental Health Meeting he attended. Wilmarth gave a
report on the RC&D Meeting she attended.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to approve Resolution 2022-25 transferring $319,224.00
to the Secondary Roads Fund from Rural Services. Motion carried 3-0. This transfer includes
$16,619.17 of Local Option Sales and Service Tax.
The Board discussed getting the Courthouse dome painted and the brick work in a basement vault.
They also discussed getting the flagpole fixed at the veteran’s monument. Calfee Welding will be
fixing the pole. They also discussed taking the tree down that fell on the flagpole.
The Board approved the claims to be paid.
Jan Beach-Sickles joined the meeting to discuss the purchase of ambulance with ARPA Funds. The
quote for the new ambulance is $232,183.00 with trading in the 2005 ambulance in Lenox. The Board
agreed to purchase the new ambulance from ARPA Funds.
Conservation Director Nick Fehring joined the meeting to discuss the overtime in the new Employee
Handbook.
The Board approved the HAVA Grant application for securing the election room. The Board approved
the monthly payment to Secure Benefits for $1,395.08.
Fitzgerald made a motion seconded by Horton to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 3-0. Pam
