Supervisors Horton called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
The Board stood and said the pledge of allegiance
Roll call Supervisors: Wilmarth, Fitzgerald and Horton, and Auditor Murphy. Also, present Colleen Larimer, Roger Brummett, Jacque Lenhart, and Paula Horton.
Fitzgearld made a motion seconded Horton approve the agenda for today and the minutes from the prior meeting. Motion carried 3-0.
There were no public comments.
There were no committee reports.
Roger Brummett of the temporary redistricting committee presented the plan to the Board of Supervisors. The redistricting committee oversees the locations of polling places in Taylor County. The changes made were to combine the City of Bedford with the surrounding townships and move the votes from Nodaway Township to vote at the New Market location.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to accepting the Ordinance establishing new Election Precinct Boundaries for Taylor County. Motion carried 3-0.
Crystal Drake joined the meeting.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to go into closed session to discuss real estate purchase. Motion carried 3-0.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to come out of closed session. Motion carried 3-0.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgerald to approve the offer to purchase the Purple Palace Building for $70,000.00. Motion carried 3-0. There has been no official paperwork signed yet.
The Board continued work on the FY23 budget.
Horton made a motion seconded by Fitzgearld to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 3-0.
