Street, Bedford, Iowa.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above-listed governmental body will hold three separate public meetings at the date, times and place above set out. The agenda for said meeting is as follows:
To consider the reaffirmation of the Taylor County Board of Supervisors’ declaration of emergency medical services in Taylor County to be an essential county service, pursuant to Iowa Code § 422D.1.
To further consider providing additional funding for emergency medical services by offering for voter approval to authorize the imposition of a local option income surtax and/or an ad valorem property tax not to exceed seventy-five cents per one thousand dollars of assessed value on all taxable property within the county.
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors’ decision will be made at the third meeting identified above.
This notice is given at the direction of the Taylor County Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Iowa Code § 422D.1(2) and the local rules of said governing body.
