NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Taylor County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the 18th day of May, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. in the Board of Supervisors room of the Taylor County Courthouse, Bedford, Iowa, for purposes of considering AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PLACEMENT OF UTILITY SCALE SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS (US-SES) ON PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF TAYLOR COUNTY, IOWA. The purpose of this Ordinance is to establish minimum requirements and regulation of any Applicant/Developer/Owner engaged in the construction, erection, placement, location, maintenance, modification, operation, and decommissioning of Utility Scale Solar Energy Systems in Taylor County, Iowa.
