PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
JOINT MEETING WITH
RINGGOLD COUNTY
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in joint session with Ringgold County Supervisors at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Supervisor Fitzgerald called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald, Watson and Beggs present. Also, present Auditor, Judy Henry, Clint Spurrier, Julie Robinson, Josh Good, Ringgold County Auditor Amanda Waske, Ringgold County Supervisors Colby Holmes, Steve Knapp and Randy Taylor.
Watson made a motion to approve the agenda for today. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0.

NEW BUSINESS:
Clint Spurrier informed the County Supervisor’s that he will be resigning his position as County Attorney for both County’s in October 2024. Both Boards showed their apperception for Clint’s dedicated years of service and wished him well in his new endeavor. Watson made a motion to accept Clint Spurriers resignation as County Attorney for Taylor and Ringgold County. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0.
Both Board’s visited with Spurrier on what the next step will be to find a County Attorney Replacement.
Beggs made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Watson seconded the motion. MC 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
