PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Supervisor Fitzgerald called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald, Watson and Beggs present. Also, present Auditor, Judy Henry, Jim Rowe, Rob Welch and Josh Good.
Watson made a motion to approve the agenda for today and the minutes from October 3, 2024, Board Meetings. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0.

Committee Report:
Watson attended the Southern Iowa Resource Conservation & Development meeting.
Secondary Road Report:
Rowe submitted one Utility Permit for AMG-Nextlink. at 2548 Hwy 148. The permit was for an addition to antenna equipment to existing tower. Beggs made a motion to approve the AMG Utility permit. Watson seconded the motion. MC 3-0. Work continues on the bridge projects.
NEW BUSINESS:
Henry submitted an amendment to the Master Service Agreement with Wellmark. The amendment pertains to change in the administrative billing for the County. Watson made a motion to approve the amendment. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0.
Good presented a bill for Solutions Inc, our software provider, from February FY 23 that had not been paid. Good believed the bill was lost between the provider and its new owner, Harris Co. Watson made a motion to pay the bill. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Shellia Culp reviewed Courthouse updates; she had found some flooring for the hallway on the lower level. She also stated Camblin Mechanical notified her they will be knocking off some fees pertaining to our ongoing furnace problems.
The Board held discussions on filling the County Attorney position.
No Auditor update.
The Board worked on items for the next meeting.
Claims were reviewed and approved.
Beggs made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Watson seconded the motion. MC 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
