PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024. Supervisor Fitzgerald called the meeting to order at 9:05 a m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald, Watson and Beggs present. Also, present Auditor, Judy Henry, Jim Rowe and Rob Welch.
Watson made a motion to approve the agenda for today and the minutes from the October 31, 2024, Board Meeting. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0.

Secondary Road Report:
Rowe reported they started blading and hauling rock again.
Crystal Drake and Sara Guilliatt joined the meeting at 9:21 a.m.
NEW BUSINESS:
Due to illness The Conservation Report was postponed until the next meeting.
Auditor Henry presented a request for an Administrative Recount of the absentee machine from the November 5, 2024, General Election. The request was made due to a program setting on the Absentee Scanning Machine. The Secretary of State’s Office wanted to recount the Ballots for accountability and reporting purposes. Watson made a motion to approve the Administrative Recount. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0. Henry will report the results of the Recount during the Canvass on November 12, 2024.
OLD BUSINESS:
Drake gave an update on activities at the Public Health Department.
The Board worked on items for the next meeting.
Claims were reviewed and approved.
Beggs made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Watson seconded the motion. MC 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
