PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Supervisor Fitzgerald called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald, Watson and Beggs all present. Also, present Auditor, Judy Henry, Josh Good and Jim Rowe.
Watson made a motion to approve the agenda and the minutes from July 25, 2024, Board meeting. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0.

Committee Report:
None
Secondary Road Report:
There were no utility applications. Rowe reported the Road Department has been busy hauling rock and mowing roads. Rowe discussed options for filling the Engineer position.
NEW BUSINESS:
Auditor Henry presented the contract with Nyhart to do research for the GASB Report for the State Auditors. Watson made a motion to approve the contract. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0.
Dana Davis, Shellia Culp, Sue Cox, Josh Weed, Belinda Ogle and Holly Cavin joined the meeting.
The Board met with Department Heads to discuss the option of dissolving the Compensation Board. Board will wait until the ISAC Conference is over before deciding on the Compensation Board.
OLD BUSINESS:
Shellia Culp gave Courthouse updates.
No Auditor updates.
The Board worked on items for the next meeting.
Claims were reviewed and approved.
Watson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Beggs seconded the motion. MC 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
